Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data TRIVLO processes, why, with whom and for how long, and how to exercise your rights.

Who is responsible

TRIVLO is operated by Batista Digital Ventures LLC ("TRIVLO", "we"), the controller of your personal data. Contact: support@trivlopro.com.

Data we process

Account: if you sign in (Apple, Google or email), your account id, email and the name the provider gives us. Without an account, an anonymous device id.

App use: what you plan, save and search (destinations, places, trips), your language and preferences, and technical logs (device model, OS, app version, errors).

Location: only with your system permission. See "Location and place visits".

Conversations with Nara: the messages you write to Nara, TRIVLO’s AI assistant.

Photos and reviews: the photos of places you upload (with the place name and approximate area) and your reviews and ratings.

Purchases: your membership status. Payment is handled by Apple or Google; we never receive your card.

Legal consent: which version of these documents you accepted, when, and in which language.

Location and place visits

With your permission (you can deny or remove it in Settings), we use your location to find places near you and to check you are at a trip’s destination.

If you turn on visit detection (where available; it uses location also with the app closed), TRIVLO sets system geofences on the stops of your plan for the day. A stay of 5 minutes or more counts as a visit: it is the proof that lets you review that place. Your individual location and time spent are used only at that moment; we do not keep your route or how long you stayed anywhere on our servers. Only on your phone, and only for your trip keepsake, the app keeps which stops of your trip you were at and for how long; none of it is posted or shared unless you share it, and it is deleted if you delete the app or its data. We keep that you visited the place that day (as proof for your review) while your account exists.

We only keep anonymous, aggregated per-place statistics (number of visits, typical time spent, visits by time of day), with no identifier of yours. We show other travelers a figure about a place (for example, what share stayed over an hour) only when at least 20 verified visits back it. These per-place statistics may be used and shared for marketing and with partner companies or platforms. We never share or sell your personal data.

If you tell Nara you went to a place, you can review it; that review does not count toward the TRIVLO rating until a photo of yours or a detected visit confirms it.

Nara, the AI assistant

To answer you, the text of your messages to Nara (and the plan context needed) is sent from our server to AI model providers such as Groq, Google (Gemini) and OpenAI, which process it to generate the reply. We do not send them your name or email.

If you turn on "Help improve Nara" in Profile (off by default), we keep your conversations to improve her and train TRIVLO’s own models, after removing names, emails, phone, card or booking numbers, links, coordinates and addresses, under a random id per conversation, never with your account. They are deleted after 90 days; examples selected for training may be kept for up to 24 months. You can turn it off anytime.

Photos and reviews

The photos and reviews you publish are shown to other travelers in the app next to the place, are moderated (automatically and by people) and are stored with your account. You can ask us to delete them. See the Content Policy.

How we use data

To provide the service (plans, searches, Nara, maps, photos, reviews, membership), personalize it, keep it secure and prevent abuse, diagnose errors, comply with the law and contact you about the service. Legal bases: our contract with you, your consent (location, improving Nara), our legitimate interest (security, diagnostics) and legal obligations.

Service providers

Processing data on our behalf: Google Firebase (account, database, photo storage, App Check), Cloudflare (our server), Sentry (error reports), RevenueCat (membership status), Apple and Google (sign-in and payments), and the AI providers above.

For places, maps, routes, events and weather we query services such as Google Maps/Places, OpenStreetMap (Nominatim, Overpass), openrouteservice, Ticketmaster, OpenWeather, Wikipedia/Wikimedia, Pexels and Unsplash; they receive the searches and, when needed, coordinates, not your identity.

Each provider processes data under its own policies and may do so outside your country.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell your personal data or share it for advertising. We only share anonymous, aggregated per-place statistics, as explained above.

Retention

We keep your account, trips, photos and reviews while you have an account. Technical diagnostic logs are deleted after 7 days; "Help improve Nara" data as stated above. When you delete your account we delete your data, except what the law requires us to keep; backups may take time to clear.

Your rights and account deletion

Depending on where you live (for example GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), you can access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict its use, take it to another service, and withdraw consent.

You can delete your account and its data in the app (Profile › Account › Delete account) or by request at https://trivlopro.com/delete-account. For any other right, write to support@trivlopro.com; we may ask you to confirm your identity.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and database access rules. No system is 100% secure.

Children

TRIVLO is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum digital age in your country). If you believe a child gave us data, write to support@trivlopro.com and we will delete it.

Changes and contact

We will post any change here and in the app, and tell you if it is significant. Last updated: 2026-10-25. Contact: Batista Digital Ventures LLC, support@trivlopro.com.
